Saved from the Sorrow of the appointed Feast
We had traveled home to Oyo, as usual yearly, to celebrate the Christmas with our parents and we were returning to Abeokuta on 27 December, 2005 after the celebrations.
t a spot before Igbo-ora, anout 38km north of Abeokuta , we ran Into a heavy traffic jam with vehicles packed on either sides of the lonely express road.
On enquiry, we learnt that the traffic jam was occasioned by an auto crash involving two trucks and a load/man carrier Cabster van commonly called "dangaria". The accident had resulted in loss of about two lives leaving about twelve other passengers with various degrees of secondary injury, broken limbs etc. and causing a serious obstruction on the highway.
Several other travelers chose to alight from 1000 metres to the point of the incident to help the injured out of the wreckage or assist in clearing the highway of the accident vehicles which obstructed vehicular movements on either side of the highway.
As this clearance was being gradually achieved, little passage was being created and I felt an inner urge not to stay long at that spot, hence my determination to move my car forward, given any little space.
Just as we were about leaving the bottle-neck created by the obstruction on the road, the only vehicle which was leading the procession just engaged the reverse gear, came back hurriedly trying to get out of the road. Whilst wondering what must have caused the driver's "irrational" behaviour, I tried to just follow him .... and just then the engine of my car went off. Before we could know what was happening, we saw a trailer descending the hill we were about ascending at about 120km per hour having totally lost control. The only vehicle before mine has "escaped", having seen it coming and we were just there expecting the worst!
Suddenly, somehow, the raging trailer just moved about an inch away from us and miraculously left our way to run Into the crowd of sympathizers at the scene of the earlier accident , running over and killing about twenty of the people helping the wounded there on he spot. Some of our friends who were on the road who saw us at the scene were too certain that we would be victims. God, however, made us victorious.
We saw death but God delivered us - I, my wife, our three children and my brother whom we gave ride from home. God must have given a ransom for our lives, His grace, mercy and faithfulness must have spoken for us. Praise His Holy name.

God has restored us.
Hello, brethren, I want you to help us to thank God for His goodness and mercies towards my wife and I because one week before our marriage in Nigeria , we both lost our job in England . He took us through that hard times, He did it in a way we do not know, He paid the bills and also put the devil to shame and the marriage itself was done still with the help of my family back home and prayer from my pastor and members of JCCI, Leeds Branch and all members of JCCI worldwide.
I want to thank God for putting us under Jesus through this Ministry. God bless you all in Jesus Name (Amen.)

Praise the Lord! I finished my M. Sc at the University and I secured a scholarship to proceed with my Ph.D study. I thereafter went to Nigeria for Xmas holiday. This did not go down well with my supervisor and he influenced the cancellation of my scholarship and initial admission. But to the glory of God,1 got another admission at a far better university and wider postgraduate package for my Ph.D programme. I also received an invitation to attend a fully sponsored science conference in Italy in 2006. Bro. Emmanuel

My husband and I have been believing God for our second child, but all our efforts seemed not fruitful. We kept the faith in prayers and finally I was able to conceive. During our convention In Oct. 2005, Rev. Adesina (Papa) prayed for me that the pregnancy will fulfill its term, which did come to pass. On the 31" Dec. 2005, when I was about to put to bed, the doctors said I may need to be delivered via CS. I called on God to intervene at that time, for I was in very deep pains. While I was being reeled to the theatre, the baby came forth and I was delivered safe and sound, not by CS. We named the new baby Goodness, because the Lord crowned the year for us with His goodness. Blessed be the name of the Lord!

RSA Halleluyah to Jesus ! I always have this nightmare in my sleep. I find myself swimming in deep water and drowning in it. One day Pastor Emmanuel preached a sermon about the red sea and then prayers were offered. Since then my story changed. Whenever I dream, I see myself paddling a boat and floating easily on water. Glory be to God in the Highest.

Praise Jesus ! I am a business woman and I trade in clothes. There is an old woman from my husband side. Whenever this old woman touches my clothes in the shop, the sales will cease. The pastors of JCCI prayed for my business and miracle happened. The old woman came back but she could not enter the shop, surprisingly there was no one holding her back. And the sates are bouncing back now. So I thank God for His intervention.
